On Monday, Nov 8th there is a Holiday baking demonstration, tasting, and cookbook signing by fellow Harvard alum Joanne Chang from Flour Bakery.The event is hosted by the Boston Center for Adult Education & tickets are a bit steep at $75, but definitely worth it if you are a baking nerd like me. I'll be assisting in the demonstration for an event credit towards my graduation requirements.SO, if you can't make it, please make a date with me to try some of these recipes at home. This will prevent me from waking up on my kitchen floor in a haze of maple syrup, with oreo cake stained pajama pants.
Either way, would love to see you and do some baking! 'Cause, let's keep it real: the holidays aren't JUST about gift giving-they are also about gluttony (no one calls Santa 'full-figured afterall!).
